Hi peeples. I was out of town for a good stretch. Now i'm back and getting back into the swing eh. A few points of radness. The folks at yosemite studio in Eagle Rock , California have the next show at grass hut. I have been looking forward to this one for quite a while as I am in love the these guys work. Martha Rich, Souther Salazar, Esther Pearl Watson, Mark Todd, maybe Carlos Ramos, and Seonna Hong. You guys know these peeples work. these guys are high rollers. Seonna Just completed a show at Kaikaikiki (murakami's own gallery in Tokyo). I think Martha, Souther, and Seonna are coming out to the show as well. So a good chance to meet them in person. yeah, come on out and pack this place and show our artists how much the pacific Northwest appreciates them flying out. getting hyper excited.

Working on my next gargamel release, a standard sized cosmos series Hedo. I'm doing the sprays myself on these. This will come with a print, and i am working on the print art now. Also thinking i may go back and make a print for the cosmos smogon I did a while ago.

I just started drawing today again after a few weeks of just noodling around with my toys and hiking in other lands. This drawing Blows. I think my Operating System is off, but my brain is trucking now on my solo at Artoyz this sept in paris. "Monster".

Off to japan (Thrash Out and Superfest) for a bit, then to greece. So will only be answering emails sporadically.
A few things of note.
1. lego guys all come fleshy coloured and carry guns now. Not guns that you make with lego parts, just flat out guns. Most of the fleshy guys are "white". nothing new to lego geeks, just a trippy observation.
2. I killed my favorite paintbrush. It broke about 4 months ago, then I bandaged it up, but it finally died yesterday working on the last bits for the thrash out show.
3. This saturday, the same day as the thrash out show. Fully Visual releases "My Totem Steven". I'll have a few at Superfest, but the rest FV will have.

This guy comes out March 28th 12noon pacific standard time. Pics will come next week before the release. The customs which were also slated for the same date are postponed for a week, and are SARS exclusives.
Just to be clear- Black Tiger is a Public release. Stay tuned to here for further info, pics, and ordering info at time of release into the wild.

So Martin and I met this morning and calendorked out our lives for the next few months.
Capital insaneness for sure. Grass Hut is remodeling and doubling our space, Balls Out show is almost here, Thrash Out show is coming up, lots of mini toy releases. And then regular artgigs and some whatnots in between. Oh, and a huge install show this July here in portland in the pearl. Gonna make a few massive pieces, and go flippin' nuts.

Ha, they are out www.bumbleride.com I am so stoked about working with these guys. My first business meeting with bumbleride was on a surfboard, well sorta. They were surfing and i was flailing about in the water trying to catch my breath. Anyhoo... Bumbleride is a super fine family stroller company out of San Diego California. Grass Hut and Thrash Out will simultaneously release Martin Ontiveros’ brand new ojo Rojo, bigger ,faster, stronger than the last.
This release will co-incide with Martin’s show at grass hut “Rock and Roll Fantasy”. Martin will have new paintings by himself, and we will have new ojo inspired works and OJO Rojo customs by some of martin’ friends.
Ojo Rojo will be available first to attendees of the show.
Thirdly- Feb. 15th noonish pacific time.
The release of the first in the Cosmos series by Bwana Spoons and Gargamel. Cosmic Smogon.
These will be available first come first served. Check the news section and catalog section of the bwana side o the grass hut site when the time comes for all the order details.
