wild forest dogs?

So I have been staying in this cabin in the northern california woods for the past weeks. I come here a couple times a year, and I have seen some cool and trippy things... 4 foot tall any mounds, a cleanly severed kingfisher head. But yesterday collision took the cake. The trail by the cabin makes a big loop around a little lake. One side is grasslands, the other side is forested. Walking the forested side with my two dogs, we were ambushed by a pack of wild dogs. They came racing down thru the forest, either 5 or 6 of them and surrounded my dogs (about 20 steps in front of me) in a flurry of dust and leaves, all of them slarling and barking, including my dogs. I had a big walking stick in my hand, and when I charged they all scattered up into the woods about 50 feet holding their ground. We had a shout out for a few minutes, and then I started throwing stones and they retreated further back into the forest. Later howling like hound dogs or coyotes.
I have heard and seen wild urban/suburban ferrel dogs before. But forest dogs? Has anybody come across this before? There are other homes thru out the forest but nobody that I know of in the area has lots of dogs running wild.

SDCC exclusives

Pu-Pu Bros. will be back at San Diego Comic Con this year. We are at booth #5036 We gots an allstar packwad featuring Martin Ontiveros, Justin Scrappers Morrison, Le Merde, and myself.
Each of us will have a nice load of new goodies, premieres, and exclusives.
My first and brand new shoes from Dekline will premiere at the show, and I will have an exclusive slip-on featuring Killer just for the show limited to 30 pairs. Denim with metallic gold foxing. Yeah!
Brown Metal Steven (Super 7 x Bwana) which you can get from myself or Super 7.
Polka Spot Edward the Gator (MaxToyCo x Bwana) available thru Maxtoyco and myself.
Globby first edition mini-mini (Gargamel x Bwana). Color is secret right now, even to me.
A few will be necklace style and the rest little fat mini-minis.
1 maybe 2 ______ (Gargamel x Bwana) Special SDCC secrets. 11am friday at the booth.
Cosmic Beer Floater Killer (Gargamel x Bwana). These will be made available friday the 13th, a few weeks before SDCC.
A really nice load of Edward customs, along with a few others for good luck.
Plus the usual assortment of tees, prints, comics, zines, and original arts. Mostly small originals, since I have a show in denver the week before.
OK, I think that's it. Hope to see you there. It's gonna be radical eh.

new customs

I am working on a new batch of Edward customs for SDCC, whatever ones don't find homes in san diego will go to the waitlisters after the convention. Originally I was working on 5 for new colorways fer maxtoyco to make, and a series of 10 glow done sorta factory style so I could offer them at a lower price... but all my colors for max were coming out too complicated to have folks at the factory do runs of, and I couldn't help myself with the glows making each one different. So it turns out I am working on the biggest load of edward customs yet. 15 edward the gators all completely made with cosmic spattery rainbow love. At the same time I am working on 4 new Killer cusoms too. No pics yet. Will have a few when I get back home. Shwuuu.

Globby is coming

The very first mini globby will be released at SDCC this year. So stoked about this little guy. Should be another fine Gargamel x Bwana project.

limited addiction

Getting ready for a July show at Limited Addiction in Denver. This year I have been really digging in with my paints. more layers... working on a personal timetrip, going into the cosmos. Thinking a lot about our little planet- the trees, the air, the water, space, time, molecules, and the cosmos.
The show is with Reuben Rude and Plankton art Co. and opens I think the third week in July. The week before SDCC. See you there.
Some peeks coming really soon.

1 of 1

I have been thinking a lot about original art. What is it that makes a collector of originals? I have been tripping out a bit thinking about the concept of original art vs the signed and numbered limited edition. I think peeple can grasp the limited edition concept way easier than plunking down on an original. maybe it's easier to talk an be comrads with a group of peeple that all get the same thing, even if it's just a really small group. An original work is so very personal. What do you think... about OG, and OG vs LE?
